Christmas at St. James

The evening of December 21 began with activities to brighten and decorate the church for Christmastide. While one crew of workers was busy replacing light bulbs and stringing lights on the Christmas tree, another crew worked in the library to make ornaments to hang on the tree, and another crew worked in the basement to assemble the window decorations. Then after a soup supper, the children presented a beautiful worship service of lessons and carols, under the direction of Susan Hesson and Jennifer McConnell.

The parish library was a flurry of activity as all ages joined in the fun of making ornaments to hang on the Christmas Tree
