Like our patron, we
at St. James Church are convinced of the need to
commune often with God in prayer. Indeed, St. Paul told the Christians at
Thessalonica to pray without ceasing. It is both our duty and our
delight to approach our loving Father so that we may praise Him for His greatness; share with Him our sorrows, joys, hopes,
and fears; thank Him for His tender mercies; and listen for His direction through the
Word and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
If you have a prayer request,
notify the church office.

effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." St.
